In my opinion, they should forget about a movieadaption with real actors, and instead do this thing animated. Keep the motioncapactors.

(Dear god....now this is proof they did, in fact, dump down Skyward Sword for the younger folks. Felt like kiddy Zelda. Ohhhh - just writing that down hurts my heart. ZELDA pretty much used to be my childhood.)
You know what is hurting gamers and culture? Dumbing down, cheaping down, minigames instead of real ones - GIMMICKS, which they try to sell as the new thing.
And NINTENDO is guilty as charged.
I for one DO hope, and very much so, that WII U fails, for the simple reason that it will teach Nintendo not to be cheap the next time arround.
WIIU is doomed, been saying so from the very start. With the gimmicky fad being over, you can´t henestly expect to compete in the year 2014 with a console that looks DATED from every angle you look at it. No way.
Nintento need to realise that this is 2014, not 1990 anymore.

The 3DS did not come out of nowhere. There was a whole history of well established handheldconsoles from Nintendo that were global bestsellers before it showed up. Vita and the rest you mentioned did not have that history at all.
WII U is not just facing some rookies here, but two giants who have already made a name for themselves decades before.
The thing is different with WII u for a number of reasos - one being, that they lost this battle with the release of the WII back in the day.
And this guy is absolutely right - the WII was a FAD.
Sure, it offered the motion controls, and back then people did want that. That was the big selling point with the Wii, wigle this, wiggle that, use the controller as a baseball bat. WHo wouldn´t want to try that?

Care for an opinion, or don´t, but fact is:
- Nintendo has been out so long, yet there are not even five good games out there worth buying.
- They bring out a console, but no games, and yet, expect people to buy it.....erm, why exactly? To heat my room?
- They scared of a lot of former fans by simplifying their games so much, and thus ruining even such titles as Zelda and Mario.
- Graphics that are three generations behi...
Smash brothers never did it for me - NEVER. One of the most boring games arround, so yeah, buying a WIIU?

I´ll wait another year, until there are more games out, the new consoles tested and debugged, and decide - X1 or PS4.
Wiiu just holds too many disatvantages for me, the biggest one being the WII itself, which just turned me from Nintendo completely. They simplified their games so much I just couldn´...

Why actually buy it?
I have it preordered from my local library - same as I did with AC3; and I never regretted it.
Had a LOT of fun with AC3, despite the reports from other gamers who loathed Connor....what do you know? I rellay liked the redskin, from very early on, and i loved, LOVED the indian language!
So yeah, why bother buy a whole game if you are not even sure if it will fit your bill?

Better graphics help immersion, more power made games like this possible in the first place - I mean, sure, pacman was nice and all, but I´d rather play Ac 4 than press A and eventually save the princess.

Also, the thing that served to ultimately kill them in the end was none other than the infamous WII itself, having scared of half the followers (before the WII came, I never thought I would have to buy an xbox 360!!) alianating the rest of them for good, and just annoying the heck of us with the force of controllers we had to point and move around like crazy when all I ever wanted to do was sit and play -
