Online infrastructure is separate from the actual machine that’s accessing it so Ps3 is still better tech for it’s time than Ps4 was for its time frame of release. No paywalls to game online > partychat
Besides some of us use our smartphones even with partychat available 🤷🏿♂️

Man I agree I remember I was excited for the reveal for Ps4 and X1 when I saw the in game graphics I was so not blown away for the first time ever for an new console. I thought to myself they are saving money on hardware and sticking it to the customers because they are eager for new consoles.I ended up going PC with Alienware Alpha at the beginning of this gen until the Pro came out
Remember when we could make our own themes on ps3 the dynamic themes were so much better than what we have with ps4, Ps4 was just a 1080p upgrade from our upscaled 1080p we were playing beforehand. Ps3 is older so you would expect ps4 to keep the old features but add even more icing on the cake but instead they removed a lot of icing off the cake but because its a fresh baked cake we blindly eat it not noticing ingredients have been tampered with but its still a nice tasting cake but rememb...

It’s amazing how people dont know thatbthe PC remasters gamecube games via dolphin and doess a great job at plus you can use a ds4 or x1 controller I play nba streets def jam ffny with higer textures and 4k rez you also have the option of making the graphics look cel shaded give it a try an old PC The size of a dreamcast can run these games in 4K I have one hooked up to my TV now plus I can play ps2 versions of those games with psxc2 but dolphin has better features and it has better textures ...
