Well when it came out I saw a lot of commercials for it so I don't know what you are talking about. Yeah sure they don't advertise it anymore like when it first launched I'm guessing because they don't want to spend millions on advertising when they are not seeing the returns for it. Every time COD comes out it does push hardware sales for all systems it releases on it's the most popular franchise this generation by miles. So yes I'm sure their would be millions of people who would buy one system over the other just for this game it's that popular.

Yes I understand they want money but to advertise a game 3 months before it's release via TV really can't be that cheap so. I don't even think Call of Duty advertises that far away from it's release. That's why I was surprised I thought it came out sooner than it did but nope still in October.

@lastdual I totally forgot about Spartan Ops that is the most likely reason why it requires that much space for the multiplayer apparently it's going to give you years worth of content so not surprised it's so big.

How does something that has been around for quite a while change the game industry?? It adds more options but it won't have a huge implication on the industry seeing how this has been around for a while.
The real question is who would buy them? From the gaming industry Microsoft maybe I doubt it I'm sure they would love to have COD exclusive but that would kind of take away a lot of sales sure it could potentially bring sales to the Xbox hardware in return but do they want to take that risk. Other than that no one in the game industry could afford them not Nintendo or Sony let alone other third parties. So it would have to be someone outside of the game industry.
I agree there are rape scenes in movies there is nudity in movies. Yet I don't understand when games do these things it's a big "controversy" by the game media.
People making a big deal need to get over it and grow up.
I don't like this one it's probably the worst live action trailer they have made in the Halo series.

People bought the first one because they liked it so to those people it's not a bad thing if it's more of the same. That's why COD sells millions and makes billions. Only a very very small minority complain about it but those people don't buy it so why pay attention to them.
I never understood why people always say that like it's a bad thing when a sequel is similar to it's predecessor. Of course it's similar to darksiders 1 it's obviously a sequel. If it was different it would be a new IP.
It's like people who complain about Halo or COD being more of the same people love what it is so they want more of the exact same thing with a few new things.
I don't get why people say that's a bad thing. I personally like it for me at least it adds realism to the game like wow a real product in a weird way it makes the game more real for me.
