It was stated that the additional mode was going to be a free download.

for making me laugh!!!
I really wish they would create an online dynasty mode that would allow a handful of friends to play with the AI controlling the remaining non-human teams. The online leagues are a good idea but my online play is generally limited against people I know.
Go rent it and make your own mind up, since the ratings are all over the place on this one. I am sure it will appeal to some.
"Up in arms" -- Let the lynching begin...lol. If that's the only thing to complain about...could be worst...I'm sure there will be a fix in the near future to bring it in line with the US version.
You can never please everyone. Give someone $50 and they'll complain they didn't get $100.
They did the same thing with their NHL game. Turning their back on PS3 gamers will come back and haunt them...I HAD been a 2K supporter with their NHL franchise but will definitely not buy their next product. I am sure many people will do the same. MLB the Show is by far the superior game of the two.
Obviously not everyone knows that NPD are for NA sales...
I guess the millions of people who have encountered the RROD do not exist? Must be so if you have not had that problem...seriously...if that were the case, M$ would not have acknowledged it's hardware problems by extending everyone's warranty.
Can't wait to play coop mode. Gaining experience while playing the single player campaign and coop campaign will be nice.
The only thing it will achieve in "killing" is the movie rental chains. DD will be used to "rent" movies (just like on demand from cable providers). People who buy movies want to have a physical disk to call their own, not some data on a HD.
I've been playing the MLB08 one for a week now...
@ 13.3
Fanboy goggles, I like that one!
The EA vault will give you access to already released titles (FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 etc...). New titles coming out will receive a %10 discount on digital downloads (i.e. NHL15, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Madden 15, etc...).
Either I am reading it wrong, but that is the way I see it. I don't see EA giving access to new games for $4.99 per month.
