Hopefully the mp is more beefier and the environments not just mainly offices.
All these systems on the market are either over-priced or underpowered. There's no kind of education to the average joe about what he needs. They just buy a system and when they find out it wont do anything but internet and word processing they go right back down the console path.

The 780g board with a triple core ran most games at playable speeds. Thats even before a graphics card.

The game was bleh, don't care for it.
If you want deeper titles you need to go to 360 or ps3. If u want casual fun wii is the box for you. Outside of smash bros I don't see enough to buy one. Ill just play it at a friends house.
The most you should ever need is one high end card for any title.
The specs for titles are getting out of control. If you look at most multi platform games between console and pc they're virtally identical even bioshock has an option on 360 to run at 60 frames per second. People will go with the easy alternative. I myself am a hardcore pc gamer since the mid 90's but I bought cod 4 on 360 because most of my friends have it on there, and actually its still a fun game even with out pc controls. I have a high end system and I'll continue to buy pc titles, like...
Lot of the dollars are online sales, and i doubt valve and others will give out that data to keep from damaging retail vendor relationships.
I enjoyed the first one even though I didn't finish it. Might give this one a chance as well.
I remember this same argument when xp first showed up, lots of issues. By the time sp2 made it out it was the darling operating system. We shall see.
Every other game has had issues getting a smooth framerate outside of sony games and criterion.
Yes i recommend a quad core processor I skipped dual core altogether and went straight to a quad core.
You can make an excellent system. Is it jaw droppingly quick? no, but it can handle any modern game u throw at it.
I'm in the middle I enjoy both platforms. Long as the games are fun then it shouldn't matter.
