I for one, have Australian internet. I think that says it all haha
I think it's hit and miss, to be honest. A few of my colleagues have experienced issues where I haven't and vice-versa.
All in all, my experience has been more irritating than not, which has meant R6 has been sitting in a drawer for longer than it's been out.
It's unfortunate, because I had a *lot* of fun with previous installments, too.
Ubisoft have released some good titles, and do occasionally redeem themselves.
Rainbow Six seems to be hit and miss at best, when it works, it's great. When it doesn't... well, you know the rest.
I'm a big fan of some of the story-tellers contained within Ubisoft, so their single-player titles are a big thing for me, even when they're not great haha

I couldn't agree more. It had so much potential to be great and it seems as though Ubisoft have simply dismissed it and moved on, it's disappointing to say the least!
I definitely didn't hate it, but as a fan of the Far Cry series it really failed to deliver where it mattered for me. Having finished the 'story', I don't feel the want to go back and do everything else like I have in previous installments. I also found the story a bit clumsy to follow, as good as it may have been, which was a bit setback for me.

The lack of single player was definitely a big flaw for me. From what I've read lately, it looks like a Dead Space Dev has picked up the rights to create a single player Star Wars experience with a slight RPG feel to it, so there could be something enjoyable coming regardless.
Sniper Ghost Warrior has always been a fantastic and immersive game. You and I can eagerly anticipate its arrival together!
