Agreed on Siren being pretty scary. It wasn't to the point to which you didnt want to play anymore but that hospital scene scared the shit out of me.

PC gaming is overrated. Yeah having a $600 graphics card is nice and games will look pretty but they won't look $400 better than a top notch PS3 game. Which is a shame on the developers part. Think what a game thats 10x better looking than Uncharted would look like. It would be insane!
Or even Guerrilla. It will turn into a brown, black, and dark red game and be over hyped like killzone. Resistance is so underrated compared to killzone.

Yeah maybe a $130 graphics card is more powerful than whats in the PS3 and Xbox 360 but good luck playing a decent game in HD with an acceptable frame rate. Yeah you can go ahead and get a $500 graphics card and think your awesome but point is no one optimises there games for the PC so in reality they aren't crazy better looking than whats on the PS3 or Xbox 360. It shouldn't be that way but thats how it is.
I personally love the XMB its straight to the point I know what I'm looking for and where to find it. Its all automatically loaded in front of me. The NXE killed it for me on the xbox I mean just to watch a video I have to do 10 button presses on the PS3 its left and select movie. it doesn't get a simpler. Also all consoles last gen had a UI its just there was nothing to do but manage memory cards, except on the xbox it had a xbox live selection and could play music which was awesome ...
Im hoping for a new Condemned. Hopefully its more like the first game than the second.
A 1GB GPU would be way out dated by then. They already have 1.5GB and even some 2GB in single cards. It should be 2GB minimum for GPUs and ATI and Nvidia have cards up to 4GB so maybe even 4GB should be the minimum by then. I would be happy with 4GB of main and 4GB of video.
Its amazing that people don't even know about the PS3 at all. THe PS3 has two types of RAM one for general use and one for video. The main memory is XDR RAM which is still faster than most of todays consumer RAM @3.2GHz and the video card uses GDDR3@ 700Mhz. The XDR RAM is so fast that it can basically be used as apart of the video RAM with little to no effects.
Well I disagree on that being the only game im interested in but agreed on the bloom and blur my god it was horrendous in GTA IV

62 million sales as of September 2010 a flop? with wikipedia as a reference thats more than the original Xbox and Gamecube sales combined. The Gamecube and Xbox must of been catastrophic failures.
I love these kinds of games. The developer will talk about how it sold so well on iPhone and how the iPhone is the future and hardcore gaming platforms are dead since it didn't sell well on the PS3 or Xbox a bunch of bs. Got this game on Steam for less than $5
They said there going to bring a voice chat patch "soon" so we'll see.

This whole thing is just stupid. Sony was fine with other os. They weren't fine with it when they said they were able to access other parts of the PS3 from with in it. All the time I read articles about some emulator for snes etc.. and Sony didnt care. And really if they would of not had other os to begin with, the PS3 would still be unhackable or atleast not be at the level its at right now.
Yeah it isnt so great. Its cool to have a device that can do everything but I cant play a game if I have my finger sliding all over half the screen then i only see my finger. its good for puzzle games and general mobile games but nothing hardcore by any means.
The one on PS3 is fantastic! Think of it as a combination of Condemned and older resident evil games... So basically a slow paced condemned with less weapons
