No one loses. Just play on the same profile, no harm done. Either way, even if this is 2K's way of protecting their software against piracy, nothing seems to stop you PC gamers from downloading software illegally, regardless.

Missed what point? You claimed certain titles will be "old" news on the other console. So what if it hits the Xbox 360 months later? The game is certainly better than the PS3 version especially with the online option.
