That's not fact. That's modifying the settings. I could have easily created a YouTube video and claimed that the Xbox 360 had the same visual quality as the PS3 and went into the console's settings to dumb it down in order to keep pace with it (PS3).

By default the visuals are washed out. This video is suggesting you modify the options on the PS3 versions in order to keep pace with the Xbox 360 versions.
GameTrailers isn't trying to run a scam or anything (or some cases, they must be paid off by Microsoft, right Sony fans?). When GT does a video comparison, both games are run on their default settings.
