I managed to beat demon's souls, ds1,ds2 and bloodborne without getting hit once. But my characters did get hit, though...actually, they died multiple times
You guys are overthinking this. If the goal is surviving the first hour, then just don't move for an hour after the starting cutscene. Boom!
