I have a 4k HDR ready TV so I'll be picking up the PRO. I can understand how someone without a 4k HDR ready TV would not buy a Pro.

Well deserved win MS. MS is showing that they at least listen to Thier customers. I wouldn't go as far to say that any of these companies care about Thier customer (except mom's and pops shops) but at least MS is constantly improving the X1. Congrats

You sure about that? At 599 the PS3 sold very well and over time it over took the 360 in sales. I don't see why the same thing won't happen with Scorpio. Everyone I know with a X1 says they are buying it and price was never mentioned. You people can downplay it all you want but Scorpio will be a success regardless of what some of you say. Devs will begin to make Scorpio the lead console just like the 360 often was. Multi plats will be better on Scorpio for the same reasons multiplats ...
We don't know the price so everything is speculation but what I do know is that develop ALWAYS go where the power is. Don't really matter to me cause I'll be getting both Pro and Scorpio. It will just be nice to play the superior version of 3rd party games back on xbox
Time for 3rd parties to jump back in! Scorpio will be the lead platform once it's released so momentum should shift back in MS favor.
That's strange cause I'm playing games on my X1 right now.
This is a legitimate question, I have a 6 series 4k Samsung that came without HDR but was capable of upgrading to HDR via firmware because the hardware that supports HDR was built into the TV I assume. How can the PS4 suddenly support true HDR without having the hardware built into the system from the jump? Will this be true HDR or will this be a "upscaled" HDR?
This game looks so good! My Samsung 6 series just got a software update yesterday for HDR so I'm good to go!! Bring on the Pro!!
It's crazy how all you so called experts think you know MS business better than MS. I'm sure MS knows what they are doing. They have info that many of you N4G analysis THINK you have. As long as the Scorpio drops at 500 or less it will do just fine.
It makes No sense to not include a 4k Blu-ray drive. Wasn't it Sony who included a Blu-ray player on the PS3 when it was still a very expensive? Seems backwards to me.

So what makes you think MS can't issue a firmware to make all XB1'S HDR compatible like Sony? Just face it, Sony is going to lose the battle when it comes to power. It's to late for MS to win this gen but they will reclaim The US with Scorpio mark my words.
It's underpowered next to the Scorpio. And it CAN'T achieve 4k gaming. Still gunna buy it but in terms of power the Scorpio will kill this console.
Personally I can't wait to see what this thing can do. I'm not the biggest PS fan but I have owned every Sony console and portable released in NA. I'm going to buy it day one no matter what because I'm just a gamer first. I'm hoping to see some Neo games running side by side next to PS4 games. And I'm hoping for it to be released this year or even better if Sony pulled a Sega lol...
And STILL no Virtua Fighter 5 FS....
