Unless the ps4 will be dedicated servers for all their games then I say those people are idiots. The servers will be p2p most likely.

The problem is that its being forced on people who may not care about free games. Everyone doesn't find value in ps+ which is clear to me based on my friends list. I personally don't care about psn charging for online play since I'm a plus member and pay for live, but I think its a bad move to charge for what is free elsewhere

This is just getting worse and worse. I'm already considering canceling my pre order and news like this ain't convincing me not to. Kinect sux as a com device because it pics up sound from your tv and causes all kinds of commands to pop up on the screen. I keep my kinect Mic of because of this. How can something cost 500$ and not include the basics needed to get the full experience? The X1 better be compatible with my 360 headset!
I like it so far but I'm only 2 hours in. I'm more of a gameplay over story person but I think that in this case I will chose story over gameplay. Hopefully I can find time to play it and see what all the hype is about.
I completely disagree. I won't speculate on why the game was linear because I don't know. What I do no is that its a FACT the game was very linear compared to the previous games in the series. Every since FFX was released there hasn't been a PlayStation 1 style final fantasy game. The only game that came close was FF12 and that was more of an offline MMO. And what does the 360 have to do with any of this? If PS 1 could do open world maps then I'm sure the 360 could to. Please...

I think that Sony is beginning to act a little immature. Their counting their blessings to soon. Has MS made some bad choices? Sure, but until I actually have both consoles in my hand its hard to say which is better. I think Sony needs to act more mature instead of acting like they bully on the block. But then again MS needs a good smack in the head to understand that they had a good thing going and just may have blown it with the X1. Can't wait to see how this all unfolds this Xmas.
I think FF10 is where the series started going down hill design wise. It was the end of the over world travel as we know it. The game basically guided you one a single path. I'll wait for FF to return to its PlayStation era roots before I buy another (with the exception of FF14).

I'm only about 3 hours in and so far the story is flawless. It's very emotional and makes u care for the cast (kinda like tupac's lyrics). There are some flaws like the enemies not being able to see your group even tho their right in front of them, but I understand why its that way. I haven't touched the MP yet and honestly I really don't care to. This is easily the best PS3 game I'VE ever played. 9/10
