There should be a law that prevents console makers from speaking in public, or they need to pick one guy that isn't an idiot, and has no pictures with a toy shield and sword.

I enjoy the fact that people can comment so much on systems they have never played, and I mean really played not kiosk loitering. My guess is that they never removed the HDMI to begin with. I was under the impression it was required by Blu-Ray. Perhaps they claimed to remove to with the intention to later reveal it was added back in to appear better.
I intended to buy a PS3 at launch or close to it, but they have managed to crush all my enthusiasm. I have owned every console released since I have been old enough to buy them. If you want to try to spin this presentation into something positive you have an extremely steep hill to climb. I think it is apparent to most everyone that this was a monumental failure. Maybe they should delay the launch and get their stuff together.
Looks like they had to cut the ammount of launch consoles down again to 99801 for Japan, and 399999 for the US.
