Actually you are able to compare with friends directly from the trophy app, at the top-right of the app, there is a large button that says "compare trophies" and when you press it, there are options to share with friends of people from your players met list.
Regarding Vita being worse than PSN was in 2006? Hell to the no, I was there in 2006 and can say that is certainly not true, but I do agree that PSN needs some more work with integration and seamlessness.
I was talking about specific trophy progress bars, and it is not up to the developers to include, as there is no such feature that's built into the trophy system, the only thing developers can do is show you your progress through stats in their start menu.
I'm talking about viewing your trophy list and seeing actual progress bars under trophies you'd normally have to keep a checklist for.
The Vita allows you to always view your trophy list and if you have trophies that need to be synced, then those trophies are synced in the "background" when viewing your trophy list. It shows the progress bar for the sync at the top-left while you are in the trophy app and doesn't disturb or interrupt you viewing your trophies,
A much better way of doing it, but still not exactly instant syncing once the trophy is awarded
Very nice idea, and a specific currency for getting trophies to get rewards! You'd actually be getting things for your accomplishments
Very nice! I just got my 39th platinum trophy in Sound Shapes! =D
@Shadow Flare
I'll note that many people are made fun of for playing Call of Duty and Madden day in and day out without playing anything else for an entire year, while trophy whores are getting many different experiences and collecting and showing off their levels and stats.
So there are people that are all about a K/D ratio, or about a trophy level, or other things, is it wrong? Do you get anything in return for realistically playing almost any type of g...
PSVita and PS3 both pour into the same trophy level, and I am 99.99% sure that the PS4 will too based on just looking at how the trophy system works
lol, I believe Hakoom was first to reach level 50, when it was capped there. Not this time around! He's trophy level 79 now and is in 13th place worldwide, still not bad at all if you ask me!
I'll point out that PSNProfiles is huge on finding cheaters, one has cheated to get there, and the other has supposedly gotten there legitimately. The legitimacy of getting to that level is not the reason for writing this article though.
Me and a friend were just talking about how the PlayStation Store needed this, and now it's here! Very nice
Game trophies and DLC/add-on trophies can, in-fact, be separated as far as organization goes. However, when it comes to seeing the game's total percentage in the list of games, it could be at 100% after the game releases, but could drop to say 85% when DLC comes out, then when selecting the game you can see the progress of the main game then all the pieces of DLC. I don't mind it too much and see how it makes sense, but it is still a fairly popular requested feature to make two percen...
To let you know, it's still PSN, SEN is the Sony single-password ecosystem that connects all Sony digital entertainment services.
Why does EVERYONE think the PSN is no-more and is getting "replaced" by SEN? Doesn't ANY journalist do the slightest of research?
PSN (PlayStation Network) is STILL the name of the gaming network, SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) is Sony's main "single-password" service, it allows users to use only one password for All of Sony's services, almost like an Apple ID!!
Services like Music Unlimited, Video Unlimited, The PlayStation ...
Hasn't it been obvious for the longest time that it won't actually be called the "720"?? lol
It should, but it it posted by the Official PlayStation Blog, so not likely that will happen =P
Hey SAND-MAN! Long time no see =D Thanks
No freakin' way!! My Vita is getting so much playtime this year! The only bad thing is the timing, why release two full Assassin's Creed games around the same time? They should hold this one till early Spring of next year... maybe, lol. Actually screw it, I want it now!
Hmm, I should add that one in, shouldn't I? On it!
The article clearly states that there are exceptions, and of a developer is still innovating then by all means, they should keep making games, as said in the article, after three games developers simply take their community's thoughts into consideration and if the franchise is still well liked then keep making it.
I love when people don't read the article and are talking about why they think the hard-drive is small.
