@Abash the idea that this game will come to pc in 6-10(whatever the terms the ms contract state) months is not unlikely . the bigger question is why some people frame it as negative , ms is making a conscious choice to sign contracts like this . its good for devs to get access to the xb1 market then get a second kick of the can to 80 million steam users , its win(MS) , win(devs) , win(gamers) . People need to remember that is phil spencers stance that exclusives had very little to do with the...
MS is very Dev friendly , not sure why some people here frame MS's commitment to PC as a negative . if a dev gets access to 80 million steam users in 6-8 months not sure how that even hurts MS but it sure is good for devs ,
If your a 3rd party dev , doing an exclusive with MS has to be very tempting , you get xb1 sales base then you get 80million steam members after a short period of time . ms has been very serious about pc being important to them , some people here will twist it as a minus i see it as a major plus .
i'm concerned the game might be short and they are holding back for the PR lead up to the games launch
@Kingthrash360 i don't think the order is being judged just a healthy bit of concern , the delay and multiple reports of issues with control . hopefully they will have everything worked out before release . quantum break hasn't had the delays or the demo going around to many different game shows all this year and hasn't had media members playing it . who knows how either game will turn out all we can do is hope for the best .
i don't believe the standby to dashboard number , xb1 is faster than the ps4 in my experience
@Eonjay when your talking about a 5gb patch for a 5gb game there is no way this is a offline machine for this game . they've taken backward ccompatibility from us and sold it back to us , next they take the ability to conintue using the old console away from us . working copyies only playable on their service .
patches are becoming so big and so frequent these consoles are becoming stealth digital machines
your absolutely right , the launch game were the worst , not much difference now . phil also said some games install faster than ps4 , its good that they are checking and trying to give the best user experience they can .
really curious to see the gameplay , maybe then it will make sense to me .
its like giving out how many lines of code are in every game , completely meaningless to the games quality .
i just hope devs don't let it effect the way games are designed , resolution over gameplay is complete nonsense .
problaby no a big secret in the industry , if they have a big count down clock in their lobby . nov 2015 is not exactly convert .
those are 2 really innovative features , music in games is so under appreciated , hearing that music building will really amp up the gameplay .
and pc , some frame it as negative , i actually think its a major positive .
they had a good september just not as crazy as the ps4 .
that would work too , i'd give them 60$ for rivals , sports and season 2 , i wouldn't want rare wasting their time with the ports though .
the worst were the launch games , haven't noticed a huge problem since , maybe i just missed the games with really bad install times
i'd like to see a kinect sport collection for xb1
even if Capcom and crytek weren't struggling its pretty evident MS 3rd party exclusive deals are very Dev favorable . these type of deals are in noway negative , ms wins , devs win , gamers win .
