without the numbers its pretty meaningless . it would be interesting to see if bb and the order moved a significant amount of hardware .
BB and the order its not surprising sony had a big month . its weird the hardline sold best on xb1 yet cod switched to ps4 this month .
my worst case is its star wars BF mod , but i'd still buy it .

like you say it might have long legs as the base grows , after almost a month i thought more than 1 in 20 ps4 owners would buy BB . i thought the horror genre and slightly faster gameplay might bring in a wider audience . i have no idea how DS2 sold in the first few week so what do i know , maybe a million is beyond their expectations ( but i wouldn't just assume it is). speaking for myself i've already bought and sold the game twice , so i'm part of the problem and the solution i...
i'm actually surprised it isn't more , spiritual successor to a popular series and super high review scores . with the ps4's install base i would have thought 2 or 3 million wasn't out of the question , i guess souls games don't make entree easy to new players .
i played hardline early on EA access and decided not to buy it , and i felt it was a nice service even though i didn't think i'd enjoy the game . the 10% discount i'll get from ea access means i'll buy it on xb1 , if the preview is good . really good service by EA in my opinion .
@TheCommentator my opinion (i've played every GT and Forza game), Forza is so far superior to everyone else is AI and car phyics it would take a complete redesign for GT to get it back . it would be awesome if they pushed forza to improve .

DC sounds like the mp3 of a care ride in a fast car , FH2 sounds like your driving the fast car and the engine is responding to your foot .
these are just pc's now devs won't care it will only get them closer to higher end pc games , and besides most devs thought last gen went on way too long . as for turning off the consumer base ms may not have a choice to try if they are getting doubled or more when there are well over 100 million consoles on the market , may not hurt them that much if sony if forced to follow , and just think we might have 3 consoles launching in 2018 that would be just crazy to watch .
its interesting that he thinks we will see new hardware much faster this gen , i would not be shocked if we don't get slims this gen and might get a new xb in late 2017 - 2018. ms can afford to move onto the next gen fast if they get too far behind , probably allot will get decided on how the xb1 sells over the next 2 years .
@yetter i could be completely wrong but i don't think the free upgrade has anything to do with microsoft businees customers , as you said many of them are still using xp , and allot of businesses don't upgrade their OS nearly as often pc gamers do .
@OrangePowerz steam os is a major threat down the road to pc gaming on windows , ms has to make sure they don't get squeezed out of that market by Valve . sure ms would be just fine without pc gaming but they don'...
with MS giving away win 10 and dx12 for pc is a major push to keep windows as a revelant pc gaming platform with the push that is coming from steam and steam os . its going to be very interesting to see how they plan to monetize it , i wonder if we might see mandatory crossbuy between win 10 and xb1 if you have an active gold sub amd maybe some other enhanced features with a active gold sub . its going to be interesting to see their plan as it unfolds .

cod was selling better on the xb1 before that and for some , people say well zb1 gamers love their shooters , yet cod switched for some reason . consumers are weird . a doubt the vast majority of cod/players have any interest in BB .
