Scorpio , i already have a console that will upscale 4k its the S and it has a 4k bluray , no point in buying the pro until i see how games perform on my OG ps4
albert penello laughed off it being allot more expensive , thats the point of them waiting a year to give true 4k hardware at the right price point

@phoenixwing when 1070 come out devs aren't required to stop making games for the 970 , they stop when it no longer makes sense . if you don't have a 4ktv or care about games being 1080/60 you could be happy playing on your xb1 but at some point enough people will move on that you'll have to as well . imo this gives the opportunity for more people to get in on an ultra cheap entree level c...
just more like pc leave it up to devs on when to stop supporting old graphics cards and old console hardware . its not like that didn't happen already with devs supporting 360 and ps3 2 years into this gen . some devs will support old hardware where others won't , it will be up to the consumer whether they think its time to buy the newest hardware to get all the games they want to play .
don't know if the playstation community is doing the same but a ton of people in the xbox community are buying 4k hdr tv's right now for the S and hdr and eventually scorpio
GWG is kinda meaningless in a month where you'll be playing FH3 , gears , titanfall and BF1 , ms made the right call saving better games for another month

death stranding will be 4k impressive boast for a game that far out
as far as i can tell , vr is the only reason the pro exists . if you wanted upscaled 4k it could have been done in the slim .
fair score really fun game with some problems
if your going to upscale 4k you might as well save the $100 and get the 4k bluray as a bonus
i agree its a matter of taste , i've played 2 games from sony in 2 years i see other stuff coming out but i have no interest whether they're exclusives or not makes zero difference to me . people can say what they want about ms and halo gears forza but i get to play those games like clockwork .

i've read some on n4g saying sony has a year advantage on ms , the truth is ms is going to have a 2 year advantage on sony . scorpio is going to be in its own class for at least a couple of years .
why rush ? give it a christmas for more 4ktv's to get in homes , scorpio is in a class by itself as a true 4k home console . phil spencer said he didn't want to do a half measure console and i think it will be proven that he made the right decision .
both companies have the "i can already play these games" problem but ms does have the 4k bluray on their side to help push people over the edge .
still too much i'll give it a look when its 20$
