Minecraft is a huge seller, its not just about the Xbox brand Microsoft would probably get more money by just letting it continue to sell on Playstation & IOS. Plus theres the huge amount of merchandise out there. Thats why they bought it, I assume.

You're both wrong, Sony charged for online because they realised they could get away with it and they wanted money. Microsoft paved the way but they didnt force Sony's hand
And Playstation 3 wasnt a "completely lackluster online experience". I'd take free online play over the oh-so great cross-game chat anyday.

Hurray for Pre-order bonuses that are actually good! The soundtrack being digital is a bit weak considering both Demon's Souls & Dark Souls had physical CD's but nevermind.

This game reeks of style over substance to me. And I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise. You guys seem pretty eager to forget Squeenix just spent an entire generation releasing pretty but boring Final Fantasy games.
I really hope I'm wrong, the monsters look incredible, but I'm approaching this one with caution
