I will give Sony the best variety of games for sure. Experiences like Heavy rain do not exist on any other console or even the genre play create share and these are reasons why I enjoy PS3 because it tries different things.

Ya from what ive read about it Live did not have many standards when FFXI came out so they were able to put in on. Now that Live has matured over the years it has rules and SE wanted to have access to Live for mandatory updates, server issues etc... but Live is closed so it was a no go.
I was hearing from forums that SE was picking the lower speced computers so it could optimize the game to test the limits. SE you sneaky devils....

FF games are about PVE so you will party up with alot of people through out your adventure. Ive gotten about 3 or 4 friends ive met in FFXI who i still chat with today over the phone and we all plan on joining for FFXIV.
