We get it. You hate PS is no longer putting their exclusives on PC while your favorite platform is giving theirs away to PC and other platforms.
Core gamers haven't seen the price either. It doesn't matter if it's for core gamers if:
A. It's priced out of most core gamers' range.
B. Most of Xbox's games are on other platforms.
Xbox's core fanbase is shrinking and an overpriced console is NOT going to keep them around or make them come back.
When will that be? Before or after the utter failure of the Series X/S?
And now Phil is being replaced by an AI exec with no background about gaming. Yeah that's definitely gonna fix things.
This is idiotic of Sony to do. All they had to do was have them do another remake/remaster instead of shoving another GaaS game onto them. This will be a tremendous loss for them as they never put out a bad game.
The less live services they do the better. Their single player games will ALWAYS be their bread and butter.
They're never gonna hit that target but hey thanks Microsoft for the games. Putting them on PS5 was the only way I was ever gonna play them in the future.
GTA6 will have this game exceeding the PS4's lifetime sales in a year the day it drops.
And it will be DOA.
It's a "smart" thing to do because they have no choice. PS and Nintendo have not put their entire libraries on competing platforms or PC and are both pulling a profit. Xbox is still suffering losses even after doing so. What you call smart I call desperate.
As a console it's losing ground fast and their next one will have even less ground than the Series X/S. They have no choice but to sell their games on other platforms to survive.
Obviously terrible value. PS and Nintendo provide way better value.
I don't have a problem with it. We didn't reach a bottleneck in year 1 like PS4 did and PS5 has plenty of life left. I'm predicting a 2028 release for PS6.
He thinks this is just one quarter. He's gonna keep repeating this every time they have a terrible quarter and act like nothing's wrong.
No one should be shocked by this. Anyone with half a brain could've predicted everything from MS being down.
Congrats. Absolutely deserved. Next up the PS1, which it will surely beat by early next year.

Got too many games to play on my PS5 and getting more. Never enough time for all of them.

This shouldn't be surprising. A console maker SHOULD be putting their console first.
