Meh. The game has no combat which is a big problem with me. I found it boring, even after 4-5 hrs.
Also- the article comes across as being pretentious, even though it has obvious typos.

One of the best jrpg this gen- come on Microsoft, get yer head outta cod/gow/halo's ass and get this going!!!
It would be awesome if they could make combat feel like it does in Dark Souls. When you land a strike you feel it- both your character and the enemy react differently depending on the type / force of the strike. It makes for the most visceral combat experience I have ever had in a rpg.
Other than that- Skyrim is what I hoped. It's a great game. For me, between Dark Souls and Skyrim it's a great fall for rpg's.
Demons Souls is a different game altogether, in a sense. I like some of the open wordless of Dark Souls but really miss the world tendency and the events Atlus did. From just needs to focus on fixing multiplayer, put in place a true pvp and allow more co-op. This game could really have some legs if they would support it more post release.

Yup. Dragon flaming for 300 souls got me started in the game, great early lvling spot.
Multiplayer is broke in DkS. Too many glitchers and summoming is so hit and miss it's a mess.
Just hope From gets it right soon. It can be amazing (see Demons Souls) when done right.
