I almost feel bad for all these 3rd party blu-ray drive manufacturers... lots of companies making blu-ray players aside from Sony and yet all of them together cannot sell more than 1 company making HD DVD players... Toshiba... what does that tell you?
I do like the idea of a blu-ray player that cost a lot less than the Playstation. Non gamers will no longer buy PS3 when they are only interested in movies.. and gamers only interested in games and without HDTV will not be getting...

Yep.. that sounds about right... I had a $149 1 year old digital camera and called Sony before the flashed died... (only the flash)... and Sony wanted me to pay $120 + tax + shipping... for the damn thing... I asked the person for only the led... and though it was a rip off ($50)..it was less insulting than paying the full price for a fix... I don't think Sony takes under consideration the product cost when they charge to fix things...
