I think now that microsoft is getting so close into the movie industry (halo movie)... or entertainment and digital distribution and moving into people's living rooms.. they may want to concider buying a movie studio or two... I don't know if this will make a difference when it comes to HD DVD... but it will as far as giving microsoft more leg into the movie industry... Microsoft studio can become huge by making a Halo, Gears movie.. and launching the games side by side...

It's not a fair comparison to compare PC games requirements vs console specs... let's not forget that game requirements also include resources needed for the OS to run unlike Consoles where the OS take little resources compare to PC and game are able to access most of the console resources... also not to mention that developer have to give themselves some room since not every PC performs the same way even with the same specs when hardware is made by separate manufacturers.

Well... it seems as if It was not enough for the PS3 to cost less than the Xbox 360 elite... nor blu-ray to win the format war... it seems americans can care less about the PS3 now... all that without microsoft even trying to have a serious price drop... Everyone knows microsoft will drop the price of the xbox 360 soon... if the xbox 360 is beating the PS3 now... once can only imagine if it gets a $100 price drop... I expect the PS3 to go back to pre-price drop once again...

Anyways in-game xmb should be part of the game console experience.. not having it is simply last gen... Sony is doing the right thing by adding it...
