Sony has been nothing but good to us gamers and dont deserve any of this.
This wil cost Sony alot of money to get back to normal and plaus they just donated a sh!t load of money to Japan. I just hope 1st party studios dont suffer because of this.
True but Sony can afford a hit like this while a small companies cant.
Its not Sony's fault but I hope Sony is looking into how this is effecting those small companies and how they can help them.

The only problem is that the ban hammer is flawed.
They some times ban you from loging onto N4G from like E7 but you still log on with Mozilla.
Some times the ban your account but all you have to do is create a new one.
They try to ban your IP but that does not work because my IP changes every time I turn my internet off.
They should have left open Zone.
I can imagine some one on that site hitting the refresh button every second.
The PS3 forums are saying that PSN will be back on line on Friday at latest.

I all for Sony updating the secuirty on PSN but I don't think they should pick Easter weekend to do it.
Edit: From what I read Sony was the one to shut down PSN and not the hackes - if so then they should have waited till Monday when most people are back at work and school.
But I dont think Sony had a choice because if they did they would have sent people notices in advance - so yeah you do have a point and it was probably something the hackers did.
