Exactly. Buy since most people on N4G hate Kinect, they don't even want to hear its name alongisde Bethesda. I'm also fine with it as long as it's optional and won't force gamers to buy it to finish a quest or get special items and delay the release date of course. We've waited long enough.

Do NOT compare Mass Effect 2 to Dragon Age 2. Dragon Age: Origins was a classic RPG game and Mass Effect was an action/RPG hybrid. You said it yourself. You've watched the E3 demo. A 10 minute demo which's point was to show big set pieces like that scene where the walkway Shepard and Anderson stood destroyed by a shockwave created by a Reaper far away. They weren't going to show people how they added more RPG elements by demonstrating point spending to the attributes or inventory system. They already gave their word several times that they'll add more RPG elements including the classic ones like inventory...
Only people who hated that game are the real Dragon Age: Origins fans. Origins was an old school RPG with some new ideas added to it. But Bioware couldn't just let it stay the way it is and tried to turn it into more action oriented game when they already have a great action/RPG franchise like Mass Effect. Thus, in the eyes of many Dragon Age: Origins fans, 2 flopped. It's a great game but it's not what we Origins fans were expecting.
I think what NYC_Gamer meant is giving ZOE fans a new masterpiece while letting Metal Gear Solid franchise rest a little bit more and then make another masterpiece just like Metal Gear Solid 4.

It's his choice. Not everyone has to like Battlefield or hate Call Of Duty like most of you guys/gals do. Personally, I'm not buying it day 1. Maybe, if they add dedicated servers and fix some of the issues that were present in past 2 games, I MIGHT buy it when it's price drops below 40 dollars.
