It wasn't there until the update's released. I constantly checked the Microsoft's Connect site until the update released so yeah, I read the whole thing and those warnings weren't there until yesterday. I'm not saying that I wouldn't applied to download the preview program just beacuse I won't be able to use some useless avatar clothing and ingame chat in some games but they should've added that information there before we signed up.
They f*cked the game up by adding items that can be purchased by real money. No balance left in the servers thanks to their greed. Now everyone who's got the money can be the star of the game by not dying with headshots, getting less damage, giving more damage, etc. etc.
That's not the problem. The problem is they never mentioned it anywhere before or after we signed up to get the preview. Just like they never mentioned that ingame chat might not work with specific games.
It doesn't look like something special. Speed is the same as the old one while connected to Live and most of the users out there are complaining how new look seems too ordinary. Oh and also, you can't use your avatar awards. Yeah I'm serious. They only show up as a text and as an empty box with question mark inside it on the Avatar Editing section which they never mentioned while accepting people into the preview program.
So they're going to release textless versions? That is great news for the ones who want to localize the comic.
With Move and 3D support. LMAO! I don't think the game's as bad as some people say. I watched a couple of videos and it looks decent. Maybe cheesy but definitely not bad.
It's not out yet. But hopefully, it'll be in a couple of hours.
Isn't it sweet to watch two trolls mating with each other?
Well, if the architechture is too hard to program, there are always first party companies like Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch to help. Sony can send some first party developers to help others.
@edhe
Meh. Leave those 5 year old trolls alone. It doesn't worth it believe me. So, frostypants, Mass Effect has tons of cutscenes eh? LMAO! Go play the game first.
Yummeh!
Yeah it's already available on Xbox Live Marketplace. I didn't check the PSN Store though but it must be out on there too since today was the update day.
Seriously, do you really have to come here and try to start a mini flamewar? Here, on an article's page which is titled "Console Wars Why Can't We Be Friends?". Grow up.
Or a game for DS. Or maybe another downloadable shovelware title.
Just buy a PS3 if you don't have one (and if you can of course). With all the possible 3rd party HD classics on the way and with the 3rd party companies' support like EA, Ubisoft and Just Add Water, future is looking bright for PS3. I hope Microsoft learns some lesson about arrogance though. For the whole year I saw a handful of companies complaining about the Live and its unnecessary limitations but so far MS done nothing.
Hawt hawt hawt hawt hawt hawt hawt hawt!
Borderlands DLC – Toy Soldiers Invasion
Hahahah they took this from the Major Nelson's page I guess. Borderlands' DLC's name is Claptrap's Robot Revolution. But also, in September 29th, there's a DLC coming for XBLA game Toy Soldiers named Invasion.
Last I heard, they were striking for more money. Dunno what happened after that.
Whoever's thinking that an RPG game is defined by letting players to add points to their characters' stats and letting them fight with D20 rules are completely wrong. Mass Effect 2 is an RPG game because it lets players to decide how the game will progress and end. If it was a shooter with light RPG elements, then there wouldn't be like 3 different endings along with the possibility of losing your crew mates. Wake up, this is 2010 not 1995.
They shouldn't have scrapped the Resident Evil 4's earlier concept too (RE 3.5). It'd be great to play the RE 4 with fixed camera angles.
