Game "won't" take place on Earth. Only a part of it will. How else do you think that Shepard will find a solution to defeat Reapers? By gaining allies while searching the Milky Way of course. Think it like Dragon Age: Origins in space. Instead of gaining allies to defeat the Blight, you'll be doing the same for Reapers.
Not being able to import every decision from the first Mass Effect is enough reason to make it "not-so definitive version". If they remove all but the important cutscenes from MGS 4 and release it for the Xbox 360, would you call it definitive? ME 2 on PS3 is not the definitve version of the game. Not by a longshot.

And they showed the footage from PS3 version. This is a first in Rockstar's history if I'm not mistaken. In all of their narrated gameplay videos (the ones for Red Dead Redemption for example), they always used the Xbox 360 footage but now they chose PS3 instead. AWESOME!
Torchlight II will be released for PC, PS3 and 360. It's been confirmed months ago by one of the developers if I'm not mistaken.

PS3 version was the worst console version of Dragon Age: Origins. Performance was piss poor (most of the time, the game was playing at 20-25 FPS) and loading times were incredibly long (20-60 seconds if you're NOT downloading anything at the background) and some effects were missing (no water rippling, etc.). Extraction won't come with PS3 version of DS 2 once the Limited Edition sells out (which already is in most big retailers). I mean this is ridiculous. Umm no. He's way too big to play the role. Look at Agent 47 in games and then look at Timothy Olyphant. Sure, his face doesn't even resembles the ingame Agent 47 or his voice actor (which has the exact same face of the character), but at least his body size looks equal. Shorter? The game takes place in a ten year span while first game took place in 1-2 years. It's not short. It's longer in terms of both gameplay time and cutscenes.
