Kameo was Rare's best game of this gen. For a launch title it was dam impressive. I would love to see a Kameo 2. Sadly all we see now is more Kinetc crap and Rare's continued downward spiral into nothingness.

This is fantastic, I own both the 'real' consoles. This looks kickass man. Great show, ignore the haters, keep up the great show, cant wait to see your E3 coverage.

your the reason they took it away in the first place!

I understand hacking to run opensource programs on a closed system. But this ALREADY HAD LINUX ON IT. This idiot's hack was to play pirated games on the system, not free it. Now because of this moron we loose linux. And he acts like a hero when he brings it back.

Natal for playing games is going to be a party game disaster. Im not sold on the move either though. But I think having something tactile in your hand is a whole lot better. For navigating menu's Natal will be awesome. For gaming not so much. Milo makes me curious but according to experts we are a long long ways away from what that video implied. I dont want to wave my arms around during halo, and I dont want to run around my basement hiding behind collums and peaking out to shoot my bu...

You know I had the same feeling. I was play MW2 the other day and found myself missing KZ2 more and more. I just think its a better game. I know its against the trend but it seemed more intense, different then the "norm". But thats just me.

to all those going to buy a 3D ready tv hold off a bit. Those 3D ready tv's (the ones out right now) are NOT providing full 1080P to each eye. Infact its around half of that. The TVs on the market just dont have the bandwidth to supply that kind of data. I think it needs around 6 gigaflops. So be like me and wait till those TV's are on the market that can do that. Should be sometime after CES I hope.

well what will be interesting is to see if the 360 did infact get an bump from the 1 million console banning. If you dont believe that it didnt your not paying attention. Its telling when you see people in game journalism ignoring the fact that just before the biggest game release in history they ban 1 million consoles from online play they manage to squeek out victory against the PS3? I really think the PS3 will outsell the 360 not only in December but also all year long. Its all about f...

1)Publishers and Developers are a finite resource. If they are making brat(z) or brain age they are not making MGS5.

2)Money is a finite resource. So is tolerance for risk. Why make a AAA PS3/360 title and sink 15-20 million into it over 3-4 years when you can bang out 10 shovel wear titles over that period with little to no dev cost and a small to medium risk?

3)Nintendo has shown that rehashing the same title's over and over and over again sells to their a...

If they cant sell more copies of RE5 there is no way in hell they will sell more of FF13, ESPECIALLY world wide.

1) "#1 - The Controls Are Intuitive" Umm no. You dont have to be a "serious gamer" to grasp the controls of games like flow or flower, or Fable II. I am 32 years old, and none of like-age friends nor myself have any problem with controls the way they are. Not to mention that I find waving my arm to the right and then having to waggle the controller up and down to run much more confusing then simply holding pushing in the direction I want to run.

While im not happy with anyone loosing his job this guy had to go. Lets see his last two comments/stories where real gems:

1)Make games for Wii upscale for PS3/360. Any dev in the world will tell you its FAR easier to take things out then to put things in. Doing this would have created a ton more work and produced some really nice buggy games that looked like ass to boot and would lack scale and AI.

2)The RE5 debacle. "There must not be any black people ...

Im a big PC guy, I own both a 360 and a PS3. And ummm no its not even close guys. The ONLY way they are even close to equal is running general purpose code. However if you cator the could to run on the CELL and take advantage of the SPU's on the CELL the CELL will blow the doors off of the power PC CPU in the 360. This is the response from a guy who doesnt want to piss anyone off. Dont bite the hand that feeds you. And rightfully so. I wouldnt openly tick off my employer either.

Creating a new format and putting it in the PS3 cost SONY their market share in the gaming industry to win a format war. Making a new format is VERY expensive, it involves alot of R&D. Money not spending if you cant recoup it beyond video games.

And dont get me started on digital downloads. There are alot of games that cant be downloaded via the web even if we had the option too. Who in the hell wants to download 10-40gig files? I sure dont. Games wont get smaller they will...

So lets take the only platform that core gamers have abandoned and that core software has abandoned and lets make it lead platform for MGS5. Lets FORCE core gamers to play in sub-1994 graphics with an miserable online experience and limit them to a inaccurate motion controllers. WHAT A FANTASTIC IDEA!

what about all the xbot bloggers who on wrote articles based on zero facts or evidence have bombarded us with blu-rays apparent failings?? Ahhh can you hear that? Thats a thousand bloggers and biased gaming journalists shutting up, sweet silence.

So lets ignore the fact that DVD cant hold HD-audio at all. Lets ignore that HD movies you stream or download are really 720P, not 1080p and are compressed like hell, which produces artifacting when decompressed, and you loose audio/visual quality.

Lets ignore that if you want to download and store true HD video with HD audio your going to need roughly 30 gigs of space per movie. Lets ignore that current storage limitations are 1 tera byte. Lets ignore the fact that most familys...

Why would anyone be against paying 250 dollars for 12 year old PC parts?? On top of that you get to play 8 year old games now with innacurate motion control! Its also fantastic for putting your DVD's on since it cant play them, and I really cant wait for the next round of plastic bullshit they put out, wii-fit, wii-zapper, wii-wheel, YES!

If your over 8 and bought a Wii, I feel sorry for you but then again your all part of the problem now arent you?

Well the article is extremely short sighted. In the next upgrade cycle the ONLY ones caring about how to upgrade and what to upgrade to will be the core gamers. Casual gamers are the people who own computers from 10 years ago and they are fine with it because it can surf the internet.
There is also no evidence that supports that all these new "found" gamers are going are going to stick around for the post "fad" period. Also the problem of demographics creeps up...

I understand this, I do. But look at why we sell our games in the first place, its so we can afford the new games coming out. I make decent enough money so does the wife, however when you buy 20-25 games a year at 60 bucks a pop thats 1500 dollars a year. Yeah yikes.

Want my solution? Do what you are doing with Burnout Paradise all your titles. However make me benefit from your system. 29.99 for a brandnew release via the PSN vs a 59.99 boxed retail copy? Sign me up. I wo...
