Not everyone can play professional football. Not everyone can find a rugby team nearby to join up with. Not everyone has time to join a baseball league. Sometimes the momentary escape is all the person can get.
Edit: I have no idea why I capitalized "rugby" the first time around.
I think before we start passing judgement on if it will be overkill or not we should wait and see how well they weave a story around 50+ Ezio. I give them mad props for how they took his gear away in AC:B, one of the best reasons I've seen in a game to force someone to start from scratch. I'm excited and curious to see how they bring him back into it with this one. But I can't help but have a Godfather 3 fear....
Dear gods yes! YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES!!
Sorry for the caps lock.
Man I hope she's a better developer than she is a musician....unless she's responsible for the pile that was Haze.
Because people tend to feel that video games are still created entirely for children. They seem to realize that the average gamer is in their late teens, 20s, or 30s and are well aware what happens in games. It's mostly people who want to yell about something so they get a small idea and go nuts without doing any research.
And did I just give the largest age gap possible for an average?
I can only speak for myself but neither I nor anyone I know playing it has experienced a freeze what-so-ever. Not saying you're wrong, just saying I never saw it happen.
that would piss me off to no end though.
Poor Joker. EDI must look pretty good to him because the chance for her turning his bones to dust is minimal.
In the modern age when games are competitive by price points and offerings DCUO has very little to put on a pedestal and say "This is why this is worth this much." The gameplay is typical MMO. Nothing that blows me away. The missions get fairly stale and repetitive very quickly. "Go beat people up, pick something up and carry, defend this person."
Add into that the fact that I personally have never ended the game at a time of my own choosing. It glitches ...
I was just using those games as an example since DA was pulled out to compare it against. However Halo and CoD do have a multiplayer element that has kept me hooked.
But we can compare them to EQ or WoW. Neither of those cost $60 to buy. I would be totally down for DCUO if it wasn't a full priced game AND monthly subscription.
If it was a lower initial cost I would totally be down for it. Then I can easily justify and support spending $15 on a monthly fe...
I bought Dragon Age just after opening day. Paid $60. Don't have to buy DLC to play it again and get replay value. I've played it through three times already. Still enjoy it. So for the first month it cost me $60. Not the $75 for a mediocre at best offering like DCUO.
I bought Heavy Rain. $60. Played it a few times. Still like it. Gotten a bit if enjoyment out of it every time.
White Knight Chronicles, BioSock, Halo, CoD, etc. No DLC. Good games. Mon...
The main quest was what? 6 missions? Lame story of "Find daddy". The heart of Fallout 3 was the side quests. Like the small town of cannibals had me totally engrossed even though it was really quick.
There really seems to be nothing for me in the Fable III Preorder. I'm currently wondering if preordering it is really needed. What's everyone else think/getting?
I don't know...getting the trophy for Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is pretty bad
Big Money, NO WHAMMY!!!!
My fetus is better than your fetus.

My fiance begged for a Wii. When she got it she wanted two games "Super Mario Galaxy" and "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess". She was hooked. There were stretches that she would totally ignore me while hunting for Lunar Tears. I never thought anything of it because, hell...we've always been there.
Then something strange happened. Suddenly she declares "I hate all video games". A medium that once brought her joy and entertainment is now vil...
Wait...you're saying there's porn on the web? Well then why the heck am I here writing a comment....
Because the kids that do want it are smart enough to keep their mouths shut
I tend to model my life on doing the the opposite of Dane Cook as much as I can. Looks like I know what I'm buying first.
