Exactly. It's nice to know that companies actually listen to gamers, while not trying to compromise quality.
I don't think it's that simple. There's layers to this in my opinion. Two sides of a very interesting coin...or something dramatic like that.
I LOVED that game! I'm personally hoping that Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite comes Switch's way, but I'll take that too!
that's perfectly fine. Your happiness for other players is appreciated.
proud to be! this was a big week for me and the NEP crew, the Nintendo Switch reveal AND the Fire Emblem Direct? Good times!
I'm happy to be one that is excited for it!
Totally agree!
Only if you have blinders on! lol
don't we all? lol
It was an honor to play and review this game. Hope you all enjoy the review!
I was actually the one who reviewed Code Name S.T.E.A.M. for Paranoid Gamer, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! It's fun, funny, and really deep in its gameplay.
If you missed this game for whatever reason? You really should get it!
I know right? This looks like it could be really successful. I was on the fence when I first heard about it, but now I'm totally won over. Can't wait to play it full-throttle!
Yeah, it will be up to us fans, but I think Nintendo is really shooting fro something different with Splatoon, kind of like how they went for something different with Pikmin, and we responded well to it.
Splatoon has the potential, it'll be up to us to state whether it should get more than one title.
I agree entirely.
YES!!! I want a demo too! Even if it's only a single level or two of singleplayer. Just to give us a taste!
Oh totally agree, reasoning is very much the point of the article I wrote. If Uncharted 4 had gotten delayed and I didn't read that blog about why, it wouldn't have affected me. But BECAUSE they said they want to please fans and give Nathan the sendoff he deserves, hence the delay, that spoke to me.
There are always bad reasons for delays, but if a game is delayed for the right ones, I'd like to think it'll be better for it.
Smash Bros was delayed and it was fantastic. And with Arkham Knight, it'd be really hard for Rocksteady to fail based off what we're seeing.
It really is a double-edged sword, and I knew that going into writing this piece. True, there are games that were delayed heavily and failed to meet our expectations. But there were also games that were delayed heavily and exceeded expectations. It really depends on the developer and what they do with the extra time given I guess.
My Nintendo fandom wouldn't be the same without Zelda. And a few years ago? It would've been my favorite franchise no doubt!
Interesting!
