Exactly. I used to listen to IGN too. But their reviews have gotten unreasonable and crappy as of late just like Xplay. I don't even listen to either of them to help with my decisions anymore.

Why do people keep comparing this to Split Second? In SS the things you caused to happen affected one single part of the track and it was you that caused it. But you are comparing that to chasms opening up, hurricanes throwing debris everywhere, giant buildings crashing down on you, the track rising up beneath you and crossing bridges that fall apart as you drive across them. And all these events twisting the whole track as you race into something completely different. Really?
It all depends. If it is a downloadable game like Flower for instance which was relaxing and visually stunning no problem. If it is a full priced SP game only, 8 to 10 hours if it has a good story. I would prefer a short compeling epic story then a 20 hour strory that drags on and on and refuses to wrap up the story.
However FPSs, 6 to 8 hour SP at the least with MP included. Anything below 6 hours is unexceptable. If you want to skimp on the SP then give us the game for les...
