@ Lucreto I just wish everyone would stop trying to compare this situation to the situation with the PS3. No one had any confidence in the PS3. Everyone condemned it from the start including the ungrateful third parties that jumped to the 360 instead of giving it a chance. Sony had to scrape and bend over backwards to show everyone that the PS3 was worth it. No one said 'give it a chance'.

EA talks too much. What are they soothsayers or something? Who asked them for warnings? Since when is EA so intrested in the welfare of the handhelds? Just go and develop for the IPAD like we know you want to and stay out of it. Okay I know I will get flak for this but out of all the systems in the gaming world Microsoft's systems have contributed the least to gaming and been the least inspiring. Everything they did was a copy of something else. Even Xbox Live is a shadow of things that existed before like Steam and Dreamcast's store. The problem is now we won't know if the 3DS is truly the better system. Now we are just going on the fact that its cheaper. If Nintendo stuck to their guns at least until the sales of VITA came in then we could say that even with equal price which handheld was better. But now Nintendo in only 5 month did this last ditch type move it makes them look desperate. In business cutting the price of your product in such a short space of time shows what little confidence you have in it.

No offense but if you can't sell more then a million copies across 3 platforms that IS pretty bad. Even exclusives can pass a million on a single platform. HR that was a new IP that got so much flak from everyone sold 2 million on the PS3 alone. Our PS3 new IPs hardly ever get a chance even when they get high scores e.g. HR, LBP, Flower,Motorstorm, Resistance 1. Why should this sloppy train wreck get special treatment?

I have been playing SP player games for years long before the MP craze started. I am more of a true gamer then most modern gamers claim to be. Because the Resistance series is awesome despite what everyone says. Cool, physics defying weapons, vicious enemies, a scary storyline, varied, atmospheric locations and meaty length SP that doesn't end in 3 hours to make you want to play the MP.
