That's a lot of words to say 'PS4 because it has 600 games and I prefer it'.
Simply put, chose the platform which appeals most to you and don't let anyone decide for you.
Either where your friends are playing, the games library that appeals most to you, or which interface you prefer.
All of the above are pretty handy if you need to decide on only one of the two but I say own both and experience the best of both worlds =)

Looks like it is but honestly if you can try it before you buy it (i.e. EA Access) then that's the way to go. Shouldn't always fully rely on reviews, just take them into consideration.
The game is really fun but I'm on the fence about paying a full $60 usd for it...
I'm with ya there man. I'm having a blast so far and I'm 23 hours in on PC. It's a great game and I'm taking my time exploring so it doesn't end on me.
