yes but MS is taking that away from the xbone by restricting it to the Dx
The PS4 isn't just restricted to the OpenGL .. It support both Dx and OpenGL and also has a Low level-API ..

@allformats it's not problem for xbone it's much bigger problem for MS since the Mantle would effectively replace Microsoft’s Direct X along said valve OS -openGL-

AMD cant just downply one console and favor the other one ;) and we already now that ps4 is supporting openGL/dx/..etc
