Not true at all. Sony paid for this game to be exclusive in Japan and for it to not be on a Nintendo console. The story of Monhun world came out a month before it was even announced on 4chan and everything in that leak has been true no matter how much people deny it.

The issue is the Switch Monster hunter has only released in Japan. If XX had released in The US and the rest of the world people would be less angry about Monhun world. As it stands all Capcom has done is made a minority of hardcore fans from the ps2 days happy and sony fangirls who are more pleased that the game isn't on a Nintendo console than they care about the game.

The 3ds is the largest selling gaming device in Japan since the ps2 so I have no idea where these stories come from. Looking at this further this is just wrong.
Both the ps4 and Switch are selling better than the ps3 and wii in japan from 2007 and games like Splatoon 2 and DQ11 are both huge this summer... so unless this article is out of date the information is really messed up.
Sony should just get out of gaming in general. They are a toxic company that bad mouths all their competition and dumbs down gaming in general. I am sorry if you are a die hard sony fan but their IP would have been better on PC, Xbox and Nintendo. Europe isn't as big a market as people estimate. In America the switch has been the number one console for 4 months of the 6 since it launched in Japan it has been number one for every month. The sales in July for the PS4 are hardly likely to be high.
There is no way of a one man band website like VGChartz knowing anything really about European total sales so their figures are Just made up and N4G users are hardly experts at what is true and false.

Actually, that is nonsense almost all the witcher key choices are made in a snowball fight. The only other choice that affects the end game is also pretty meaningless for you the player.
The expansions are even worse.
The witcher is far more overrated than breath of the wild because breath of the wild does not pretend to give the player choices when everything is in fact scripted to be linier events.

Monhun has sold 12million units on the 3ds. I doubt world will even get close to a third of that despite costing infinitely more to make. Capcom are dumb for not waiting on the switch and making an elaborate westernised version of the only game that made them money!
