Meh
Now compare to the character model:

Edit: to be fair, here it looks good

@alexkoepp
Sorry! :p
Announced much sooner than expected... I can a see a delay on it too. Maybe this announcement is to avoid competition with Destiny, who knows.
It is my only grip with the game so far.
At least the Titans could have a weighty feel, but they move just like infantry
Same gameplay again? :(
But that shotgun shot from behind after jumping through the window never gets old!
Talking about PS4 version?
Yeah, sure, 6 months of timed exclusivity is the minimum. I expect a PS4 release for at the 2014 holiday season.
But calling it "actual release" is too much (and sorry if I misinterpreted you)
"But the consumers who did buy a Wii U are probably not the type of gamer that would go out and buy Splinter Cell"
You will disagree for me agreeing with this...
But I think Nintendo could play the game of being the second option after PS4 or XB1.
I honestly think that the majority of people who have only the WiiU (no PS3, no X360, no XB1, no PS4) don't want a Splinter Cell game or other M-rated games.
Go for it!
(I'm a brazilian)
They took the retail cost in US as reference for the taxes. LOL.
Sony BR is importing the console from Amazon! Or would it be from Gamestop?
It is my thought with Xbox One when get it down the road.
OT: Uncharted, The Last of Us and God of War 1080... I can get these titles again if reasonably priced.
I would pay $60 at launch for a complete collection (Uncharted trilogy or every single God of War game)
I would be in for a Vita game entirely on young Nate, focusing on stealth, stealing, platforming and running away.
Not much in for Sully, Chloe would nice though
Killzone first and foremost, mainly because the weighty feel and the eye candy
COD at launch too because it's fun, run'n gun and I can get my kills even when I'm stressed, tired or drunk
I wish I could like the vehicles on BF... seems incredible watching, but it's not for me.
Knack is a simple game, and it is meant to be.
Ryse is much more ambitious, thus, subjected to more critics. And actually, the game seems to have improved a lot since reveal.
I can see myself replaying Knack a good number of times, and the simplicity you mentioned is the main reason for it. It reminds of the Genesis/Mega-Drive, PSOne times when I played the same games over and over!
Haters are gonna hate, but even though I'm getting a PS4 it is really annoying the hate this game is getting.
- Graphs are awesome, incredibly awesome (if you're comparing to a PC, compare to a $500 PC, nuff said)
- Single player sounds promising (the family drama/revenge is cheap, but the development of the characters is much more important than the initial plot imo)
- Not excited about multiplayer (I'm not a multiplayer guy)
Abou...
It does, way better now
And it is just one screen tearing before release, who knows if it will be present at launch or how frequent it will appear
I was always thinking it as "rated-E God of War" but indeed your analogy makes sense. Well said!
Makes me a bit sad, but hopefully:
1) Weather effects will be at release, not after patch
2) The game will be fun in single-player
3) 60 fps, so I can stop reading people whining about 30 fps (which is fine imo)
4) They can correct the camera that makes the car cover the track. I like to see the track when I'm driving. :p

Of course that you could find it on pre-orders charts, people would try the PS Plus version first.
Say thanks to the Internet.
In the old days we could only get a glimpse of a new game from magazines or when it was already on the shelves.
We have too much access to information and end up hyping too much.
My grip is with facial textures/animation.
The eyes look awesome indeed
The gamersyde version is on:

Dat awesome 1080p uncompressed!
The close scene with Echo is much better, then you can really see how the light is turning her skin totally pale, but keeping a good level of textures.
