360 fails or Nintendo fails or new ipods fail or the list can go on and on. All these what if's are stupid and while bluray may or maynot save Sony, it almost certainly will not destroy the PS3.
Sega had an add-on DVD player where are they now, since its such a brilliant move on MS's part? I have a 360 but I would rather buy a PS3 with every thing included, even a browser then a $200 pos HDDVD add on or a $500 HDDVD player that studios will not support. Support is what killed BetaMax and it will more then likely hurt HDDVD. Because no matter how you look at it Beta failed but was still better then VHS.

I will admit UMD seems to have failed and with good reason but I seem to recall a company by the name of Sega who went the route of ann after market add on drive. What happened to them?
Of course this is all speculation and noone one knows what the future will hold but we do know that BD is still a baby compared to HDDVD and hasn't had as much time to mature once it does it will be as good or better if the keep trying to progress it.

360 is pushing out so many shooters that they all start to seem like a watered down less interesting version of Halo and Doom. Gears of War I am sure will be great but with so many more Sony fans then 360 fans I imagine that the PS3's and Wii's will over shadow this one game. Just download it and you will see that the screenshots for this game are better then the graphics on the demo.

This looks loads better then the 99 Knights Demo on Xbox 360's marketplace. So you can talk bad about it all you want but it is still more impressive then a game coming out a year later for the 360 and it is a launch title. So if you want to bash a game because of its look then bash bad looking games for each system equally because there are low quality games being released on both platforms. Will the 360 version have all of the same features as the PS2 version? Such as manager mode create a wrestler etc. If it does then I will go ahead and purchase for the 360 instead of the PS2.
PS3 and Microsoft are both about the money while Nintendo is more about the fans but they expect that all of there fans are young. Porting a game from the PS3 to the 360 would be just as difficult as the 360 to the PS3 so this doesn't prove anything to me.
PS3 has sent out 10,000 dev kits according a PS3land article posted today. According to the article this is more DEV kits then the 360 or PS2 sent out during there launch period. So maybe Sony will have quite a bit of support from devlopers, but who knows what will happen.

Is not the most popular game for PS2 and the best game is all based in your opnion. Most people I know play GOW but it isn't thier favorite game by any means.
It could also cost $250 but if it only has the power of an Xbox then maybe it should only go for around $149. But for Nintendo to truly damage PS3 or XBOX 360 they will have to produce games that actual adults can enjoy not Monkey Ball or Smash Brothers.
