It's originally a game released in 2013, obviously a lot has been changed since, but still the base code for this game was in development before at least 2011, which means that thing was probably going to run on PS3 and XB360 with a few tweaks, Digital Extremes just chose to skip into next gen... Someone would have had to majorly fuck up for the Switch 2 not to run Warframe smoothly, a game with 15 year old mid power target specs! It's a very light and optimized game by now anyway, it...
No it has been usually 3 for a time now, but they are dropping PS4 only games in 2026, I believe when they announced it was specifically said January 2026 was supposed to be the last time, but no PS4 only games were given last month and given Ace Combat 7 in indeed a PS4 only game (PS5 runs it, but entirely emulated as a PS4 game), I guess they have added it as 4th in February to bid last gen farewell and not break the trust of those expecting to get 3 PS5 or at least multigenerational games ...
What anticipations? Do people still believe MS will make another console? Not some licensed Steam Machine kinda ordeal, but a fully in house R&D'ed next gen custom hardware console they'd have to manufacture, market and distribute themselves? The same MS that's not even trying to stock the thing anymore in half the planet? I mean, the writing's been on the wall for a while, but by this point it's all but out in the open: MS gave up on hardware side of the business. The...
Oh I remember this one... It's Kena gender swap from Temu but in a BOTW clone. Surprisingly didn't suck despite of how derivative it felt, the limited budget definitely shows in some aspects of the game being a little too rough around the edges, but overall not bad for what it was: a 25 dollar indie ARPG... But after two years they are pushing this in the PSN for 30 bucks, like, why even bother? Fenyx Rising (the better "we have BOTW at home" there is) goes for 12 bucks on s...
With how Nintendo has been around everything related to the Switch 2, I doubt this will be great news for long... Watch how they decide to kill physical releases for Switch 1 right away, release multigen games as Switch 2 titles only so everyone with a Switch 1 have to pay 80 bucks too.
@anast
The kind you'd want to bury in a desert island and leave it there forgotten through time? Yeah, I can see that...
THIS. That smells like asset protection, won't surprise me one bit if it turns out Yves and his brothers are named personally along with Ubisoft and Tencent as beneficiaries of this joint venture, so they can retain some control and/or profit participation for those IPs even if they were to loose control over Ubisoft (or, like, to stop such a move from happening as therein lies most of the value of the company)... I guess we could say the Guillemots are building a nest egg (I'll see m...
Pretty standard for pulled off products, collectors love useless but very limited things.
Are you seriously trying to push loading screens as a voluntary design choice rather than a technical limitation in 2025? Good luck with that...
I just finished it last week. You don't speak for everyone.
Always good to see EA has its priorities straight...
Am I supposed to throw a tantrum here like when Sony games require a PSN login on PC or what?
PSA: Don't pre-order anything, you think what, that companies won't take your money after it's released? Are people really this thick? Heck, I've never pre-ordered anything in my entire life, not even physical, but specially a digital game, come on... Is it gonna run out? LOL
And while we're at it, every time you buy a digital good promoted as a "limited edition" your brains shrinks a little.
@Knushwood
Aren't those a kind of candy already?
So is Twitter.
Close but no cigar. Nepotism is the act of giving an undue advantage to someone based on their association, more specifically facilitating advancement in career to a relative or friend, which obviously means it absolutely is restricted to people as entities have no familial ties nor get jobs, but even if we stick with the more lax notion and were to allow entities, still nepotism is specifically about using your position to prop some people up, not for holding other people down, that's, a...
I don't think you know what nepotism is...
Oh no, (yet) another log-in before a game, the horror, what would we do?
It's me.
Unless I can play as part of the Roman Empire, it's a pass.
