I dont think the facial animations will be as detailed as in LA, because gameplay in LA revolved heavily on reading facial expressions.
Which is why a lot of people complained their was not enough variety in LA, as most of the time was spent on creating the facial technology
Where as in TLOU, facial is used to convey emotions in the sense of story rather than a crucial part of gameplay.
Doubt it is coming out this year, so far ND said they want to take their time, as they felt rushed making Uncharted 3.

Yeah, the gas mask in my guess will be used when you kill a mutant, the spores produced after you kill one is what causes the infection. It may be a combat tool or something used for looting
Also... use a bigger image, people can not see the mask very well

I plan on doing the same once I see TLOU gameplay. I am also media blackouting Bioshock Infinite and Me3.

Dude... almost 96% of PS3 owners who bought Skyrim hate it. We got screwed out of a good game, and most people gave up on this game that was supposed to last for months only 2 months after release.

Its very fun, their is the initial learning curve. The controls are kind of like Battlefield, R2 to sprint, L3 to knife, square to reload and interact with objects.
To build in battle hold triangle and use the right anolog to select what you want to build.
When driving in the Razaorback, hold X and use the left stick to change seats.
It takes getting used to but it is very fun, I think this might be a first day buy for me.

We will see... but Capcom has abandoned horror... they even said they want to appeal to the "call of duty" community.
They turned this franchise from a dark broody athmospheric horror, into a gears of war esque run and gun game
