I still own this game. It literally gave me goosebumps back in the day. This one and Aki's other classic Def Jam (the first and second titles), are some of my most favourite grappling/wrestling games.
WWE13 was definitely an improvement over previous titles, and in a way I'm saddened that it's probably the franchises' swan song (given THQ's financial issues).
On the other hand, I'm kind of keen to see a different publisher try their hand at making the definitive wrestling game.
Is it strange that I actually want a horse for my avatar in PS Home?
I don't want to give the impression that I'm a dirty young man, but I love that gaming has grown up. I love the fact that games like Far Cry 3 and the Witcher 2 have tried to treat their adult fans as... ADULTS. The fact that violence in games is tolerated and sex is frowned upon has to be one of the strangest hypocracies ever.
However, on one hand I do understand. Games are generally created in two countries where the attitudes towards sex, the female form and nudi...
Funny, when I mentioned that Microsoft stole the illumiroom idea from someone else, I was flagged for trolling, and they took my bubble.
I feel vindicated now. Please return my bubble.
I'm more interested in the rumour that Microsoft stole the idea of illumiroom from a british software engineer. Incidentally, the BBC holds that patent. It seems Microsoft is back to its old tricks, stealing patents.
What a worthless franchise. It baffles my mind that time after time, Activision gets away with pushing all this plastic crap onto the market. First it was guitar hero, then it was the ill-fated Tony Hawk's board, and now it's stupid plastic figurines.
Also, spot how many times articles about this is being blocked and reported? If this was about xbox this place would be littered with how great xbox is.

Why I stopped reading this article... it's lame.
The irony is that Call of Duty under Gearbox would have actually pushed the franchise back to its roots. Amazing military-based Stories and gameplay over twitchgaming for toddlers.
It doesn't surprise me one bit. IGN and Kotaku have had it in for SONY since the PS3 was first released. Anyone else remember all the doom and gloom articles. Well EGG on your Face IGN. Suck on those apples. It must really suck to be c*ckslapped through the mouth like a bitch.
That Call of Duty 4 engine has been showing its age since 2009. This actually looks terrible, like Activision is trying to cash-in on Telltale's Walking Dead game and the TV series.
And the NPD's relevance to global figures? Nada! This doesn't change anything, PS3 is still top dog. I love the way all the xbots are scrambling to make the NPD tally seem more important than it is.
Remember kids...

These sorts of articles is why I've started to hate the gaming media. I'm joining you in voting this:

Very cool review. Will see about buying the game next week.
I never understood that, so it's OK if little Jimmy can headshot a terrorist in Call of Duty, but THINK OF THE CHILDREN when you have a nipple on TV?
I had similar problems with xbox live. I ended up speaking to some Indian guy's supervisor and after literally a week's worth of phoning and screaming, they took my cc details of their server. It was hell. I even thought of cancelling the card to stop them from resubscribing.
It's really strange how history keeps on repeating itself. I was a kid barely in my teens when the Mortal Kombat saga was unravelling on the news. I also remember the craziness after Columbine, with Marilyn Manson and violent PC games getting the blame.
Yet again, I think the right people are asking the wrong questions, or more to the point the right people are focussing on the wrong issues. First deal with the source of the problem. Understand why kids feel the need to...
