What did they promise? Seriously asking. My expectation for Cyberpunk was basically just an open world Deus Ex.
For me, CDPR is only second to Rockstar when it comes to creating top tier open world games. Witcher 3 and now finally Cyberpunk 2077 are among the goats.

Without the organic, wandering exploration which is the main appeal of Bethesda games IMO.
