I know the SMB3 textures are in it, so I don't see why the powerups wouldn't be in.
Oh yeah, the Wii Party recreated with mario skins thing, nearly forgot since I only played it once.

From what i've heard,(I believe they talked about it briefly in the recent mp video) you can customize what you look like to other people, if that's a consolation.
