Heh, inconsistent indeed. Sort of like how Nathan Drake can take a couple bullets and in a mere 30 seconds be fully healed, but in a cutscene he takes a bullet to the gut and suddenly it really effects him! Oh well, as long as it's fun, that's all that really matters.
Nope, not surprised. I own FFVII, the first 3 resident evil games, spyro, both oddworld games, and a handful of other PSX classics in digital form - all of the retain the load times, glitches, and incredibly high detail the original versions did.
I must be in the minority here, but I played the demo on PSN and was bored immediately... I don't even think I finished the thing. It's odd, I used to love these types of games, but for some reason they just don't do it for me any more.
Well, if I used the one I have at all, I'd probably jump right on this... but sadly I don't, so I'll pass.
It's multiplatform, and Crysis doesn't do Kinect either.
yup, that totally fixed it. I just assumed that when their blog said it was live, and Gabe Newell said a while back they would be able to update independently of PSN due to Steam, that the update would actually be live before the store update. Wrong, but it's all good now!
Hopefully Portal 2 DLC works now? I tried earlier, but it just said no content available, even though Steam says it should be there.
It's far more than combat racing. The shooting is the real meat and potatoes here, although you'll do some combat driving to and from most missions.
Oddly enough it does... but then I think about those comparisons to Fallout, and realize the load times there were equally atrocious, and returning the many fetch quests was just as tedious. I completely agree though, the shooting here is fantastic, driving is awesome, and I wish BF3 wasn't releasing in 3 weeks so I could afford to get this.
Indeed, I'm sure someone out there will need it. If it's anything like Demon's Souls, the online community will be your best friend for getting through this thing.

This is the only numbered RE game I've never played... I don't have time or money right now due to the crazy fall line up, but I'll be picking this up eventually.
