Ico and SotC were some of the best Ps exclusives. With their gaming legacy already in place I expect them to blow people minds at E3.

Nintendo dosent only have Mario, Zelda and Pokemon are just as big as Mario. And now with the Wii, Wii branded games are also big sellers for BiG N.
Sony dosent have just one gaming icon as well. Jak, Ratchet, KZ, Kratos,
Nathan Hale, Drake and others have become the big name on PS platforms, but they all bow down to Gran Turismo on Ps.
MS needs Halo, Gears and maybe one or two more big name franchises.

But as far a gameplay im going to say no. This gen has had more innovation from games like: SMG, LBP, CoD4 etc.
Look at both games in motion. KZ2 obviously has more things technically going on at the same time. LP2 looks great imo, but it cant touch KZ2.
Uncharted 2 maybe the one to watch for as far as graphics are concerned.
GOW3 and Heavy Rain looked flat and un-natural compared to Uncharted2 and KZ2 so far.
Dont get me wrong here. I own all of the 2D versions of MK, but he 3D
versions of MK were poo. I dont think that anyone besides THQ might pickup the MK franchise. Its sad really because Midway is a dev that has been in the industry for years. BTW dont they owe TNA money for that crappy Impact! game?
But after Star Fox Adventures and Kameo, RARE has sucked.
I still play KI often and hope they dont ruin that series.

Ultima, FF, Ninja Gaiden, DQ, Zelda and SF were the orignial hardcore titles back in the late 80's, not to mention a couple of Atari classics
as well.
the orginial Xbox changed the gaming landscape because it changed what "hardcore" games were. Now they associate with Guns, Boobs and cursing.
