I sold my PS4 a year ago and got the xboxone. Got Forza 6 cause I'm a fan and had been playing the series for a long while. But for me it just isn't as fun as Driveclub. Kind of felt like I was on ice while cornering in Forza. Anyway they are both great and I've recently returned to the PS4 and pleasantly surprised at how much content and support there is for this game.
Are the mortorcycles worth trying out?
A game I was addicted to on the original PlayStation was Intelligent Qube. If they offered that on Now or Crash Team Racing I'd be in!
I'm in the same boat. Cannot access digital games at all. Even netflix. BS.What about having our memberships prorated for the days we are unable to use?
Totally agree. Weather or not it's Sony's fault. I bought games from them( digital) and I pay for a service that I have not been able to use since the afternoon of December 23rd. Have not been able to play any digital game at all, they all have locks, even netflix. Shouldn't we be allowed a prorated membership? Heck if our cable goes out even Mediacom offers service for the days cable is out.
What I blame Sony for is not having a way to play a digital game offline. It's a joke. I have Need For Speed, BF4, and Driveclub digital copies and have been locked out since early afternoon Tuesday. I can't even watch Netflix that I pay for. Everything has a lock on it. Message of, Can't connect to the server to verify the license. If this is how its gonna be I'll never buy a digital game again!
Biggest reason not to buy digital games folks is because of what's going on with psn at the moment. I own digital copies of BF4,Driveclub, Need for Speed, Zen pinball and others and I have been locked out of everything including Netflix since late afternoon yesterday with the message, Cannot connect to the server to verify the license. Have tried to restore license and get another error. Complete BS!
Not really sentimental about game cases either. But I like to trade games in to purchase new games I'd like to try. If Sony and Microsoft implemented some kind of buy back or trade system I'd be all in!

So this article got me thinking. Why isn't there a trade in or buy back policy for digital games? Is there one coming in the future? I really think many more would embrace digital if they knew they could trade a game in.
Bought Need for speed at launch on the PS4 digitally and recently purchased Driveclub the same way. IMO NFS was crap and you've all heard about Driveclub's issues. My problem with digital games is there is not a trade in system in place. If there was I'd be all in with digital.
I'm starting to feel the same way about wanting my money back. Yes the single player is good and looks even better but I paid for what was advertised and still haven't been able to play online. Its BS! How long do we continue to be patient ? Many of us were patient for almost a year before BF4 was worth playing and that game still has issues. Anyway this is the final straw for me. No more preorders. I'll wait instead to hear from gamers playing a game before purchasing.
DC single player really is a good game, really . Don't know about the multi player cause still unable to connect to servers even with the new update tonight. Unnacceptable. Last game I ever preorder. Ever. I'll wait and read reviews before buying. But hey, it is a good game.
Bottom line is this. I paid for a game that advertised awesome online play. Online play isn't happening for me yet. Any other product I buy can be taken back for a refund. I do feel for the gamemakers, they must be embarrassed. But the fact is they have my money. It does make me angry. Tired of getting burned, first BF4 now this. People say be patient . Well for how long huh?
C'mon man, sure they didn't take my money. I bought the game because the videos looked good and the online sounded fun. When I purchase a game I expect it to work right away. If not give me a refund. Simple. For the record I think the single player is gorgeous and it plays well. But this launch is still a joke. No more preorders for me. Got burned with Battlefield and now this.
I wouldnt mind DRM so much if we could trade games in or sell. I own a PS4 and I bought the digital copy of Need for Speed. I don't like it and I wish I had bought the physical copy so I could have at least traded it in towards something else. But now I'm stuck with it.
We watch Dead here in surround. If givin the option I 'll listen in surround everytime. Girlfriend same thing. Before we met she had never heard surround sound. Now she loves it!

Yes. Bose were my first surround sound speakers until I became educated. Not that they sound bad,they don't. But they are way over priced. You can get better and less expensive speakers without a doubt
Not a slight towards you man but if you haven't experienced gaming or movies in surround you don't know what youre missing!
