You have to preorder the game from a retailer and then you receive a code to redeem on the Bungie website. I did mine on Amazon so I won't get charged anything until it ships but I've already redeemed my code. You don't select which platform yet, I think that'll be once the invites start going out. I believe I read somewhere that it's timed as far as the ones who redeem the codes first get into the beta quicker.
If it does come out I hope this guy does an unboxing video for it.
I'm actually surprised how solid this game is, been having a blast with it so far. It's just timing..with Titanfall in a couple of weeks I don't know how many people will continue to play this. A shame really but hopefully the community stays there because it is a very good game.
They're going directly after COD and aren't being very indirect with the way they're doing that. The easier for people to migrate over to their game which is superior in every way to any recent COD game while still maintaining that twitch shooter gameplay that THEY made so popular the more customers they will get. They even have a burn card in there making fun of COD Ghosts, there is no love for their old place of employment and they are out for blood.
Totally agree. I've been playing it maxed out on the PC and when they opened it up for everyone last night on Xbox One I immediately downloaded it to see the difference. While up close textures take a hit everything else holds up fine when compared to the PC version. Also the jaggies but its not really THAT noticeable, if anything it's mainly because you can do 1080p on PC so that helps make it look a little crisper but not by too much.

I only spent about $750 total for a GTX 670/i5 3570k, a nice HDD and case. Since most top graphics cards nowadays have an HDMI port you can just plug it into your TV like a console. This setup is better than both the new consoles by alot and the hardware is a few years old. Just have to look for deals and not buy everything top shelf, look on Newegg for deals during black fridays and such. Most towns have a computer repair shop you can take it to and they'll put it together for under $100...
The definitive edition is an entirely different engine so comparing the 2 is moot.

It's probably because you're on PS4 which along with the PC is fine, however the Second Assault maps in particular have been beyond fucked since the beginning on Xbox One.Hopefully the PS4 version is not as ridiculous as the xbox version currently is.
Take your time, those specific maps from the Second Assault map pack are beyond fucked on Xbox One right now even with the new update.
