The only people that have that kind of money are the big shots like Rockstar.
I wounldn't go as far as to say that they failed on their own, but they have had alot to do with their own demise.
I think these price cuts are both needed and necessary. Things are much tighter financially then they used to be.
Some would make you believe that used games hurt the industry. Personally I don't think that is the case

I was able to get a Copy of Williams Pinball collection volume 1 for Xbox for only 5 bucks. Then I found out it is worth alot more because it was never released in the United States... I had no idea until after the fact.

However, you can download all of your PSN games to that machine if you log onto your PSN account. Granted that will take a little longer, but it is possible. That said, I am a sucker for the solid disk media as well.
