It is pretty typical. The humor is great tho. They will even poke fun at the genre at points
It is most definitely not piracy. The patch is for existing copies of the game. The translators make it very clear they respect the developers and are doing this for their love of the game

Its unfortunate but inevitable that some game companies go under. The devs will find someplace else to be and continue making great stuff. I'm not too worried for them cuz they're obviously talented.
