Years ago, I would agree with you. But with the IPAD and open development on it..... it's becoming a threat. I've never owned an apple product, but I find myself craving an IPAD 2. (of course the PSVita has my eye more.... and possibly the WiiU)

It's too bad that wasn't always the case though. The game had bugs that messed up transportation and some of the RCI supply/demand things. But, sometimes, you could do it just right.
I agree, that's kind of silly saying that you can't judge graphics because of different engines. You might as well say that you can't judge them by different consoles/pc's as well. All are comparable, it just depends on what terms.
