Thinking about all the time and money I spent at the arcade playing shooters with a plastic gun, I'm definitely think I'm going to splurge on this. It'll be fun to play at home with your big screen and then when you get tired, just switch back over to the DS3
Yeah, that's exactly what I thought. I was afraid the graphics wouldn't hold up but that level look very nice and detailed.
Dark you're def right. One of the first true games of this "generation".
And Bright....I'm going to take every cutscene from Gears and Mass Effect and disregard the other hours of gameplay and claim that it's a movie.
Haha, don't worry. I've done plenty of real stuff that makes me a man. I was just saying that Demon Souls is a legit hardcore game. If you beat it, you're a really determined gamer. For heaven sakes, the game automatically saves every 3 secs and you can't go back.
But I agreed with your point.
Play Demon Souls if you want to experience the chilling consequences of killing a NPC. They (as in the people you NEED to level up and so on) are GONE for the entire game and you can't recover them without starting an entire new game. A
AHHHHHH! Seriously, I don't think I've been this excited for a game in a long time! Demon Souls is a game that you become a man when you beat. This one probably makes you twice the man.

still to this day when i hear the soundtrack to this game, i get lost in trying to save aeris from sephiroth, running around on a breeded chocobo, the final fight with jenova/sephiroth, and spending hours and hours playing through this game as a kid. this game for a lot of us, reminds us of some of the best memories of being a kid all over again and getting drawn into another fantasy world.

wow...I really used to like G4 but they're really hitting a new low. I love Adam Sessler, but everyone else is just bad. Olivia Munn jumped shipped. It's sad how they try to hold onto rating now by having attractive girls. Sorry, if I want to see Sara Underwood, I'll just open up a copy of Girls from the Pac-10 (she went to Oregon).
Plus, even the cable networks are dropping them...
Wow, this is amazing, they're really pushing the the boundaries, killzone 2 already had pretty large scale multi-player matches, now they're incorporating mechs into the online matches too and it's running without a hitch!
Now, just please add co-op to the single player! :D
Oh wow, I'm disappointed. I was really looking forward to this game. Typically, I don't buy sports games every year unless there's a drastic improvement. I'm now torn, laggy online play and Jordan challenge no fun???

Umm...Do you realize all those things you mentioned are options? I have uncharted 2 and don't purchase DLC or GOTY editions. However, xbox live is REQUIRED for 70% of the xbox experience. Compare apples to apples man...

But the PS3 web browser is great for two things. Bootleg movie websites and those naught adult video websites. Lol, seriously, if you haven't tried it. It's a great way to get it on your 40 inch flat screen and not having to worry about viruses/spyware on your laptop...
ok thanks, i just want to be able to have my roomates play this as well, without having to watch each other. But that would be the only thing holding this game back, making it a solo experience rather than one you can enjoy with others

Oh wow, I had no intention on getting this game after the last 4 COD games. But this actually caught my interest...maybe I'll be Battlefield 3 for the PC when I want serious gaming and COD MW3 for the PS3 when I want to chain together 8 straight kills.
